AC14 Extra Door and Window Sensors. Turns Off the AC if a monitored Door or window is left open. Each AC14 can pair with up to 6 of these Sensors.

DOOR/ WINDOW SENSORS

The Door/Window Sensor is a dual purpose wireless unit that will communicate the status of a door or window (open or closed) to the main AC-14 unit.

• A maximum of 8 D/W sensors can be paired with an individual AC-14 unit

• 1 D/W sensor is included with every AC-14.

• Maximum operating range within direct line of sight between the AC-14 and the D/W sensor is 20 metres, Slightly less if there is not a direct line of sight

• D/W sensor battery life calculates to approx. 30 open / close actions per day for 3 years. Batteries can be changed when required.

• In all AC-14 operating modes if at any time if any door or window fitted with a D/W sensor is left open for more than 3 minutes the A/C will be switched off.

• The AC-14 can also be set to work in conjunction with the D/W sensor to determine the occupancy of the room. For example, if a person enters the room and closes the door behind them, (provided Aircon Off detects their movement within 5 minutes) it will be deemed that the room is occupied. Consequently the A/C will be allowed to run for the duration regardless of any further movement being detected and regardless of night or day. When the person exits the room and closes the door behind him, if no movement is detected in the room within 5 minutes, the A/C will be switched off as the room is now deemed as unoccupied.
