Hot day on Central Coast, followed by 17 degree temperature change

Hold onto your electricity bills, it’s going to be a hot one and the aircon is going to get a hammering.
The region will prove Australia’s reputation for weather variability in the next few days with the temparature expected to vary by 17 degrees between today and Saturday.
Coasties are expected to experience a very uncomforatble daytime maximum of at least 39 degrees celcius today with the peak reached sometime betwen noon and 3pm. Overnight temps will remain between 17 and 24 degrees until about 3am on Friday morning.
