Drought: Heatwave forecast to scorch Western NSW | Weather radar

A HEATWAVE is predicted for parts of the Central West with some locations set to see the mercury soar to the early 40s.
The Bureau of Meteorology alerts states that low intensity heatwave conditions are forecast to continue over large parts of Western NSW until Thursday this week.
Western parts of the Central West will be the hottest, with Dubbo’s temperatures predicted to reach as high as 37 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday, before soaring to 41 on Thursday.
Hot days are also predicted in Parkes with tops in the mid to high 30s on Tuesday and Wednesday and 40 on Thursday.
